Our values

Knowledge

The Psychology programme at SFU-Paris allows our students to acquire a solid base of knowledge and skills in the different fields of psychology (clinical psychology, psychopathology, transcultural psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive psychology, work psychology, neuroscience, etc.), as well as several valuable techniques (interview techniques, questionnaire, experimental method, observation, qualitative and quantitative data analyzes, etc.).

Co-building knowledge

Throughout the program, SFU-Paris offers “self-awareness sessions”. During these sessions, students are invited to engage in group reflection aimed at assimilating knowledge through experience.

Practical Experience and Professional Development

From the first years of the Bachelor, all students are encouraged to carry out internships in institutions. With that purpose, the SFU-Paris has established a solid number of partnerships in order to facilitate the beginning of their professional career. A total of 850 hours of internship (350 hours in Bachelor and 500 hours in Master) is required for all of our students.

Self analysis

Students are encouraged to undertake personal analysis or individual therapeutic work. While not mandatory, this process is strongly recommended as it plays a key role in personal development and in building a solid professional identity.

Outpatient clinic

Our second-year Master’s students may participate in the SFU-Solidaire Clinic as therapists-in-training, working under the close supervision of licensed professionals. This clinical space offers them the opportunity to engage directly with the realities of therapeutic practice in a structured and ethically guided setting.

*The clinic is currently undergoing restructuring and is not accepting new patients.
